Dodson Bros. Exterminating Company, Inc., one of the largest family-owned pest control companies in the United States, is seeking applicants for the position of District Manager to oversee branch operations in a service office within our company. Our growing team of over 600 employees continues the tradition of excellence established in 1944 and proudly serves customers in seven states and the District of Columbia.
The District Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of Company sales and service and district office programs following all company objectives, policies, and systems, and doing so in a manner that provides the highest quality service in all categories while complying with local, state, and federal regulations meeting all safety, health, and environmental standards. These responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring and training of district personnel, budgeting, maintaining appropriate licenses and certifications, and promoting the belief that the customer is the most important part of our company.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years prior experience in pest control sales and/or service is required
- Strong reasoning and decision making ability
- Proven skills in leadership and employee relations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and concurrent supervision of sales, service, and administrative departments is needed.
- Experience working alone with indirect supervision is preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills are required
- Computer literacy and demonstrated proficiency with MS office products
