On August 20, 1944 the first Dodson Pest Control office opened.
The Dodson company was founded by Bert Dodson, Sr. and his older brother Robert in Lynchburg, Virginia. A few years later, another brother Arthur joined the team and the brothers behind “Dodson Brother Exterminating Company” began to build what is now the present day company.
Today, this legacy lives on as the company has expanded their operations to 38 offices in 5 states.
Company President and CEO Bert Dodson, Jr. had this to say in commemoration of the company’s big achievement, “We are proud to maintain the principles of honesty and a commitment to customer service initiated by my father over 75 years ago.”
In August, team members from all 38 offices have been celebrating at 3 separate celebrations, hosted at Massanutten Resort, Kings Dominion and Carowinds.
