Bert Dodson, Jr. Wins Third Term on Lynchburg City Council
The election drew a record-breaking number of 12 candidates to fill only 3 seats. Altogether, there are seven seats on Lynchburg City Council. Dodson is also a former Vice-Mayor of the City. Dodson said he is "eager to continue working hard for City support of public education, law enforcement and firefighters. We've made a lot of progress in our City and we need to keep making progress." Lynchburg has a population of approximately 68,000. Dodson Bros has its corporate headquarters in Lynchburg, and operates 34 offices serving Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee and the District of Columbia metropolitan area. It is one of the largest family-owned and operated pest management companies in the country.
